They're pretty great seats, at least the damage is mostly bolsters. Oh good, I figured I've seen them too often on other fox bodies for them to actually be TRX. I know it's not an SVO, but it does have the 2.3 turbo, so wouldn't it be like the Mercury equivalent to an SVO? Or I guess it probably doesn't have IRS

SVO didn’t have IRS. it just had custom 5-lug, and rear disc brakes as far as special parts. SVO debuted in ‘84, and SVO itself was created in 1980. From ‘80-’83 there were turbo non-SVO mustangs and capris. ‘80-81 was carb’d and the early ‘83 cars were EFI, pretty much the same as the later SVO. TRX wheels are the three-spoke type. Metric tires blow donkey dick tho, but there’s a company reproducing them in 16s so now you can buy normal tires for them.
Sorry I’m a bit of a wealth of knowledge when it comes to foxbodies.

On my phone it looked like a Carb conversion. Larger pics clearly reveal a “turbo” front and a bit to stage left! How could I miss that?!
Yeah. With shipping and other BS it wouldn’t be worth it. Pretty rare machine though.

Yep! I learned everything about early foxes when I started working on mine. Lots of little stuff that changed through the years.

Turbo 2.3 wasn't fuel injected until 1983.
